Culinary Wellness for Cancer (CWC)
By partnering with oncologists and surgeons, Culinary Wellness for Cancer transforms waiting rooms and central hospital locations into interactive, culinary wellness education spaces. At the CWC table, patients learn about food that provides optimal nourishment during treatment and recovery, taste nutrient-rich recipes, and watch and participate in cooking demonstrations. The program encourages patients to supplement their treatment with a healthy, plant-based diet and find pleasure and strength through food. Past partners include the Comprehensive Breast Center at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital and the JCC of Manhattan.
